Downpatrick Head

Description

Dún Briste (The Broken Fort) is a spectacular sea stack off Downpatrick Head in County Mayo. The headland is named after St Patrick who founded a church there. Standing on the edge of a cliff is a World War II lookout post, keeping watch.
